dirty works coconut caress body butter

With my recent dalliance in to the world of fake tan, I've been trying to keep the skin all over my body in tip-top condition as I'm really scared of any streaks or patchiness - so it's exfoliate exfoliate exfoliate moisturise moisturise moisturise for me! I have so many body lotions lying around but I absolutely can't get enough of the Dirty Works Coconut Caress Body Butter at the moment. Not only does this smell absolutely incredible (like coconut as the name suggests) but it's so rich and creamy and leaves your skin feeling gorgeous. However, although it is really effective in hydrating your skin, it sinks in relatively quickly so you don't have to stand about for ages feeling sticky!

The other fab thing about this product is the price - it's a nice big tub (300ml) so lasts a long time and even better it's only £4.99! Bargain! In Sainsburys at the moment you can actually pick it up for only £2.24, so perhaps now is the time I'll stock up!

What's your favourite body butter at the moment?

xx

  1. This sounds great! I've never tried anything from dirtyworks, I was always sceptical that the products were just cheap rip offs of soap and glory products. But I might have to give it a try at that price!

  4. I have huge love for the Body Shop shea butter, but I find it takes far too long to sink in so I'll be looking for a replacement with the same scent once my huge tub runs out! XO.

  6. As long as your stuff does not have
    -AHA products
    -Anti-acne products
-Anti-aging products that "renew" "refresh" or otherwise exfoliate skin,
-BHA Products (Beta Hydroxy Acids-salicylic acid)
-Body hair bleach products will bleach the tan, non bleach skin lighteners are fine
-Dove soap, and Dove Shower gel, Curel lotions will fade a tan faster, on some people.
*BIG ONE: Everyone uses Dove I swear so grab something else next time you head to the market if you are an avid spray tannrer*
-Retin-A type products (Retin-A, Renova, Tazorac, Tretinoin)- all will cause faster fading
-Shaving exfoliates skin, so fades tan
-Toners containing Alcohols or Witch Hazel in the top three ingredients listed can lighten tan
-Use of a loofa, scrub, mitt, etc. for daily washing. (Use a soft washcloth or "soft poof for daily use)

    You should be ok :)
